Hey Claire

Claire Marshall, a.k.a HeyClaire on Youtube!
"LA based makeup artist turned vlogger"
||
How I got to know Claire Marshall? Obviously from Youtube.
I was so amaze by her awesome editing skills in her videos and start watching every single one of them every since last year.
Now I'm a big fan of this gorgeous youtuber who gave off this cool yet adorable vibe that makes me envious of.
I still remember when I finished watching one of her lipstick video and my mind went like "daebak! I've never seen such a creative lipstick video before."
Really, I'm not exaggerating at all!
Here's the video:

She makes way too many awesome fashion and beauty videos and I can tell you that, I repeated the videos like so many times. Whenever there's like no new videos uploaded yet, I'll just go back to watch her old videos.
Another thing I really love about Claire is her style in fashion.
As you can see, I'm really in love with her style (e.g. wearing an outerwear over a simple top, w/ a pair of jeans and you are ready to go).
She rocks in transforming simple and casual outfit stylishly and define herself through the clothes she puts on, the make up she wore and the way she portrays herself.
(Look at that leather jacket, I really want to get it! *.*)

You can check out Claire Marshall's youtube channel, blog and instagram.
I'm always inspired by Claire's style whether be it in fashion, make up or even interior design.
She's one of my favourite fashion icon & fashion youtuber!
Do subscribe Claire's youtube channel. :)

Personal Note:
Hey guys, so sorry for this long waited update. It's been a year since I last updated my blog.
Many things happened and I really don't want to say much about it.
I'm so busy lately, coping with my work and studies and slacking around. Haha.
I'll be back with more posts, bye!

xoxo, YH.

Mochaccinoland (Prisca E)

Fashion Blogger: Prisca E
She's your lovely lifestyle blogger(which she didn't want to admit that she's a fashion blogger in her bio as well) from Hong Kong and currently staying in Singapore. My first impression of her when I stumbled across her blog is that she's like a girly-princessy type of fashion blogger, due to her fair complexion and the way she dresses with frequent sweet pastel colour, is like way too cute. But, I truly admit that it suits her alot. Her cuteness is expressed out through the way she dresses and how she accessorize herself with ribbons and quirky sunglasses, which brings out a bit of mischievous and playfulness.

Those who think that polka-dot style is out of trend, you're wrong! Look at those polka-dots printings on her apparels, it looks amazing and like polka-dots is the trend now. Make the trend your style and it would never fade away. It is determined by how you choose to style yourself.
Not only that, Prisca bakes! Look at the cupcakes, don't they look delicious? Start experiencing the dollops of outfits, a handful of bakes, a bucket of food & a free flow of mambo juice with her(copied from her blog's banner) by taking a look at her blog now.
xoxo, YH.

Metallic Paws (Izzy)

Fashion Blogger: Izzy
I think she's really pretty, don't you think so? :)
The combination of the clothes on her give you this refreshing feeling, and when you look at her photos you would feel inspired.
I was inspired by her and went to browse through bloghops to get more dressy dresses/skirts to look more elegant, atleast for once in a lifetime!

LeHappy (Luanna P)

 Fashion Blogger: Luanna P
I guess the reason why I feel that Luanna's style relates to me is because it is more towards street style. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't really know how to perfectly categorized her style and express deeply enough to inspire you guys.
After looking through the photos, I think you would get what I meant by her taste and style.
I can only say that I honestly love the way how she match her clothings, bringing out her unique taste in street fashion and making them outstanding.
Also, she usually wear beanies/hats/caps, etc to coordinate with her entire outfit.
*A tip for you: Head/hair accessories also plays a big part to shine your entire look.
IS DEMINNNNNNNNNNN! Isn't her demin outerwear fabulous?!? :D
Are you inspired by this type of street fashion? Hope you are!
For more inspirational outfit ideas from her, follow her on her Blog, Instagram, Lookbook, Tumblr and Facebook! (I'm following her as well!)

Monoxious (Black Outfits)

Fashion Bloggers: Arissa and Dawn
I bet many people must have known this famous local fashion blog called Monoxious, run by Arissa and Dawn.
Even if you don't know about this blog and the bloggers, I think you can already figured out their style colours.
Yes, is BLACK. And combination of white/gray.
The reasons why I became Monoxious' reader is because of their styles and the way they make black clothing shine in the crowd.
And not many people can really pull it off.
Arissa and Dawn really make us realised that black is NOT a boring colour!
Even if black seems to be easy to match, but still, not many people can make black colour outfits outstanding.
Also, I really love how they combine black and white colours together to make the whole look perfect, not at all dull and boring!
Are you fascinated by the way they dresses? Because I am!
I'm so glad I stumble upon their blog because they are the ones whom brought in black colour into our fashion couture.
They definitely change our mindset of "Black is not meant to be worn in Singapore".
If you're a fan of black goth/white outfits, you can check out Monoxious and get really inspired by these two fashion icons!
In case you're wondering where they get their outfits from, some is from Taobao.
Lastly, I really recommend to those who're into black & white style to check out this Singapore-based store Depression.

Paris Skinny Jeans (Florentin G)

Fashion Blogger: Florentin Glémarec
What makes Florentin a fashion icon for local guys is because he can outstandingly pair up any outfits together with skinny jeans.
(FYI: Camo print trend came back last year 2012)
Relatable?
This is how local Singaporean guys would dress up for a casual day.
Local Singaporean guys normally have a slim body type(not all), and only minority of the local guys have built and muscular body type like Adam Gallagher, excluding Singaporean mix.
(*If you have a big/muscular/buff body type, try not to wear skinny jeans, it won't look good on you)
Good thing about having a slim body type is that you look perfect in skinny jeans and bermudas and super tapered school pants(you know what I meant).
But not a good thing is that you can't show off your chest muscle and biceps/arm muscles when wearing basics.
(Picture relatable to local teenage/young adults who smoke. (: It reminds me of my friend who also used to sit at a random spot and start smoking. Hahah.)
(FYI: Skinny jeans does not make your legs look skinnier)
It would only "show off" to others that you've skinny legs(for slim body types people only)
When guys like Florentin wear skinny jeans, I always got this feeling that they can jump very very very high and far, as if like they can bounce off the ground.
Local guys wearing skinny jeans/bermudas are out in the streets everywhere. But would you want to be as typical as them? Here's some tips which may/may not help you in bringing out your own style with skinny jeans.
Tip #1: Wear an outerwear, be it demin or leather jackets, etc. It would make your outfit look "casual yet not that casual"(you know what I meant).
Tip #2: You can wear coloured skinny pants instead of the usual black/blue demin skinny jeans.
Tip #3: Get a nice pair of shoes! Don't wear sports/school shoes! Get a Vans sneakers or oxfords/loafers or boots or mocassins, etc.
If you want to know more about Florentin Glémarec, do check out his blog, tumblr and lookbook.
xoxo, YH.

Brown Platform (Anastasia S)

Fashion Blogger: Anastasia Siantar
What I like about Anastasia is that she's very bold and daring to wear loud prints outfits and handles them perfectly.
And the way she wore it wouldn't make people feel like it is too exaggerating and too overboard.
That's because she normally wore 1-2 stuffs which got prints on it and pair it with a simple top/bottom to co-ordinate and balance the entire outfit.
Most people fear to wear loud printings/graphics clothes on them (including me) because we don't know how to mix and match it nicely and confidently.
And also, if our whole outfit have too many prints/graphics, it would eventually led to fashion disaster.
So if you guys love loud attention prints and don't really know how to mix and match them, you can take a look at how Anastasia Siantar wear her outfits.
And if you want to purchase this type of clothings which got prints on it, you can check out Romwe & Market HQ.

Lookbook Leader (Adam G)

Men Fashion Lookbook.nu Leader/Blogger: Adam Gallagher (IAMGALLA)
When I first saw him on lookbook.nu, I was like "Wth, why is this guy so handsome?!"
I would call him a "casual with character" fashion blogger/icon.
Not only is he handsome, but look at how he dresses!
Simply just basics, white palette and jeans. Yet, it looks casual and also nice right?
Why? Because he accessorise himself with wrist wear, bag and sunnies (not too many, if not it would tend to make you look too exaggerating) which actually add points to this "casual but have a character" look.
Honestly, I'm very pretty bias towards demins(outerwears, jeans, etc).
When I saw this look of his, it actually reminds me of a game I played when I was younger where I used to dress up my boy game avatar in this way (T-shirts+Demin Jacket+Jeans).
Sometimes I wish I was a boy. Because boys can just wear a plain top and jeans/bermudas and pair it with some accessories and you're ready to go out.
But for girls, it became like a hassle sometimes.
Because we would always be thinking "what should I wear out for today? ... This shirt is so ugly ... No clothes to wear out ... Lazy to choose clothes ... "
I don't know if it applies to most girls, but it applies to me because I'm always lazy to choose clothes to go out. So instead of choosing, I would rather not go out. (:
After seeing this whole casual outfit, I feel urgggghhhhh, why wasn't I'm a guy? Haiyahhhhh. But still, I'm glad I'm a girl.
So guys out there, hope you got inspired by him.
Dress casually and with your own unique style!
xoxo, YH.

Clothes Encounters (Jenn Im)

 She's a fashion blogger/vlogger that I totally adore.
Firstly, she's a korean-american and her english accent is like marvellous. Go watch her videos and you'll understand.
Secondly, her style is like chic yet hardcore because she always add tough-looking boots/platforms/creepers or accessories to toughen her whole look, making her whole outfit not so girly.
Lastly, her lipstick collections must be really enormous. She always wear nice lipsticks in her videos and I really like her unique make-up.
I'm hook on into watching her videos ever since reading Audrey's post about Clothes Encounters, and I literally chiong all the episodes!
And also because she's very pretty.
Don't get too addicted on watching her videos.
xoxo, YH.
