French Celebrity Fashion and Beauty Expert: Inès Ligron
In today's exclusive interview, I have the opportunity to acquaint readers with this french madame whom is the epitome of grace, elegance, femininity and sophistication. This lady revamped Japanese pageant, giving it glory years of recognitions. She is Inès Ligron, the Legendary Beauty Queen Maker.

Enter Inès Ligron! She is a former National Director of Miss Universe Japan from 2003 - 2010 and was appointed by Miss Universe organisation as the Best National Director. Under Ligron's coaching, Japan produced 1 Miss Universe Winner, 1 First Runners-up, 1 forth Runners-up and 1 Finalist. Inès Ligron, known for her bold attitude and notable fashion sense, proves and show to the world that Japanese Representatives could be just as bold as their Latin and American counterparts. Inès also worked with IMG Models, an international leading model management firm, with celebrity supermodels such as Tyra Banks, Kate Moss and Mirander Kerr. She became the Asia-Pacific Director in IMG Models. Moreover, Inès Ligron also worked with high-profile clients such as Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Penelope Cruz and Sarah Jennifer Parker as a Celebrity Stylist. Ligron's success does not end there. She appeared in numerous television shows and magazines, publishing a best-seller book 'The 77 Secret to Beauty' and has collaborated with international brands such as Calvin Klein and Samantha Thavasa(also endorsed by Mirander Kerr and Girls' Generation). Let's get to know more about Inès Ligron in our exclusive interview.

1. Hello Inès, tell us a little about yourself and what are you up to lately?
I have opened a beauty academy called World Class Beauty Academy (WCBA). Hiroko Mima, who worked with me for the past 8 years, is the head teacher in WCBA. She worked together with me in Singapore but after we opened the academy, she went back to Japan. I am currently based in Singapore however my main business is in Japan.

2. What is fashion to Inès Ligron?
It is a living art form and a way to personalise and express yourself. It is also the possibility to reinvent yourself depending on the stages of your life.

3. Who are your style muses? Who are your favourite models?
Style Muses: Anna Dello Russo, Kate Moss, Rihanna, Zendaya Coleman, Cate Blanchett
Favourite Models (new generation):
F - Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls, Candice Swanepoel
M - Jon Kortajarena, Sean O'Pry

4. Do you consider yourself a trendsetter? What trends are you loving currently?
In Japan, I was the first person to promote that style should be defined by mixing high end brands and high street brands together to make it outstanding and 'more cooler'. Many magazines also promoted my statement.

5. What are the essentials in a woman's wardrobe?
White T-Shirt, White Blouse, Jeans, Black Tailored Jacket, Long Dress, White Bodycon Dress, Stilettos, Nude Flat Gladiators, Black High-Knee Boots.

6. How is it like working with Hiroko Mima again in WCBA?
Hiroko won Miss Universe Japan title in 2008, and placed Best of Asia at the Miss Universe pageant. I met Hiroko Mima when she was 19 years old and now she is already 28 years old. She has worked with me for so long that she knows from A to Z what my beauty philosophy is. She has a passion for teaching and Japanese women really connect well with her. They really transformed after her classes. I live in Singapore and will travel back to Japan once a month. After the opening of WCBA, Hiroko moved back to Japan to be the main teacher there. I could not dream of a better person than her to direct the school.

7. What is the difference between coaching Miss Universe representatives and WCBA clients?
When you coach beauty contest winners, there is always the same goal in mind... Winning! When you teach regular women, they all have different lifestyle, personal fashion style and career. Their goal is always different. Hence, I have to come up and design a personal style for them, be it looking taller or more elegant. I will also teach them the knowledge regarding fashion and style so that they will continue to blossom.

8. What were your most memorable milestone in the fashion industry?
Winning Miss Universe! Riyo Mori, a Japanese representative of the beauty pageant whom I scouted and trained, was crowned Miss Universe in Mexico in 2007. I proved to the world that Japanese women can also be recognised as Number 1 beauty in the world. I was told countless times by Japanese people themselves, that it was a "mission impossible" that Japanese representatives can become Miss Universe. 10 years later, I proved them wrong. I was also the spokesperson of Evian, Audi, Avon and Calvin Klein in Japan. I have worked with Jennifer Lopez and Penelope Cruz on advertising campaigns several times around the world. I was also the director of both Miss Universe and IMG Models in Asia. Both are very hot properties in the world of fashion.

9. This is personal. Do you have any pets?
I have a very beautiful Lusitano horse back in my homeland France. My hometown is in Camargue, located in South of France, between Monaco and Spain. I cannot wait for summer to come! I will go back home for 2 months and ride it with the toros (black fighting bulls) on the open lands around my house.

10. What are your advices to building inner confidence and making impacting and lasting first impression?
Understand yourself, know your body type and dress accordingly. Be classy and portray elegance even when you speak or when you are eating.

Li Chi Pan

 Lifestyle Blogger: Li Chi Pan
When I received an e-mail reply from Li Chi Pan, I could not be more excited enough to share with you the questions Li-Chi answered in the interview! I have always love people who has a great sense in composition, colours and minimalism. (It is just artistic, you know?) I am also a big fan of photography and minimalist instagram grids. So, I jump right in to get to know more about this gorgeous lifestyle blogger and social media influencer, Li Chi Pan.

Li Chi is a content editor, a social media influencer and an architect graduate. She has work with iconic brands such as Audi, Country Road, Ladurée and has recently collaborated with Flight Centre to create breathtaking photography for Tourism New Zealand. I have the opportunity to spent some time knowing Li Chi, so let's jump in to get to know more about her.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hello! My name is Li-Chi Pan and I am a twenty four year old South African-born, Taiwanese currently residing in Sydney. I graduated from my Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Sydney in 2014 and work as a content editor for MAXMEDIALAB, a luxury media agency and a social media influencer for MAXCONNECTORS.

2. What is your secret in perfecting minimalism photography on Instagram?
Using good editing apps is quite important and being consistent with filters! I use Afterlight and VSCO to achieve my white and minimalistic look. I also try to keep to my theme which is 'white' on Instagram so my grid feels succinct and whole.

3. What do you love most about Sydney?
The amazing coffee culture, beaches and people.

4. Where is your next-to-go destination?
Iceland!

5. Some words of advice for those who wishes to pursue a career in Architecture?
It's tricky answering this as I chose not to pursue a career in Architecture! However, the advice I would be able to give people is that Architecture takes a lot of determination, hard work and many all nighters - it is a highly subjective degree and requires a good eye for design as well as composition. If you feel like you have these qualities you may be picking the right career! I have always had an interest in media as well as photography and felt that my passion was stronger in this field and made the decision to swap careers in January.

Wengie

Most subscribed Asian Beauty Youtuber in Australia: Wengie
If you do not know Wengie by now(which you should have), you must read this post! I promise it will be an enjoyable read for you to get to know this gorgeous beauty YouTuber. I am really honoured to have the privilege to interview Wengie whom I love so much. Her personality always shine in her videos, and every time I watch Wengie's videos, I would always get this positive vibe to stay optimistic throughout the day. I bet everyone who watch Wengie's video would agree with me! (Watch Wengie's vlog video: How to be Optimistic)

More about Wengie - She is an Australian-Chinese who used to work as an accountant and social media marketer before turning into a full-time YouTuber. She uploads make-up tutorials, hair tutorials, fashion hauls, lookbooks, routines, etcetera. An interesting fact about Wengie is she had tried many things before. She have lived on instant noodles to buy handbags, spend over 10k on shoes in a month and worn $2 dresses before. You can almost say she's a living example of 'been through it, done it all'.
She has couple of hair colours before, from pink, to blue, to the current silver ombre. Wengie totally rock in all the colours!
I think this post is going to be lengthy if I keep on complimenting every beautiful part of Wengie. You and I both know how awesome she is. So, let's move on to the interview.

1. Can you describe yourself in 4 words?
An Awkward Dreamer. (3!! It means I'm winning 😝)

2. What is your biggest challenge in being a full-time YouTuber and Blogger?
The biggest challenge still remain the same, being a full-time blogger as being a part-time/hobby blogger. It's the fact that no one is telling you what to do and your success is really up to yourself. There is no one demanding you to meet any deadlines and telling you what to make and when to make it, so you really need to be strong and self-reliant and work harder than everyone else out of your own will. You are your own boss and it can be tough especially when you are a lazy procrastinator 😝.

3. Where do you get your daily dose of inspirations?
I actually get a lot of inspiration off Instagram and other YouTubers. Mainly Instagram I think.☺️

4. What are your wardrobe essentials?
My fave go-to's at the moment are a comfy pair of jeans and my Nike Air Max. I'm living in them!☺️

5. You mentioned that you are re-inspired by XiaXue(Wendy Cheng) and Bong Qiu Qiu to blog, are there any other asian blogger/s that you adore too?
I actually find myself watching a lot more videos than blogs recently and I don't really follow bloggers as much anymore. But I still would love to read Wendy and Qiu Qiu's blogs when they update.☺️

6. Who are your favourite YouTubers?

7. Which country are you heading to next?
I'm looking forward to seeing Vietnam because my favourite foods are there.☺️

8. You look so young, like a college student! How do you maintain looking so youthful?
Well, I'm going to thank my parents for their genes 😝. They both also look really young for their age and constantly get mistaken for 10-15 years younger than their actual age. I also don't go under the sun a lot plus a good skincare routine has really helped. Sun damage, bad nutrition and lifestyle can contribute so much to ageing.

9. Do you plan to get another tattoo soon? If yes, what design are you planning to get?
I've wanted a small tattoo for a while but I can't think of a design that is meaningful enough that I want on my body. Hopefully I'll find something to inspire me soon.☺️

10. A quote as a reminder to your fellow sisters.
"Make Life Beautiful" is usually a quote I have on my channel that I love. But I found this great one the other day as well..
"Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking." - Markus Aurelius
It reminds me of being grateful for what you have - no matter what you have is the secret to a happy life!!☺️ I aim to keep trying to remember that everyday, and I hope that you guys, my internet family, will join me too.☺️

Here's the end of the interview. I'm still very excited that Wengie gave me the opportunity to interview her. She's really friendly in the email, and yes, every sentence she ends with a smiley face(I changed it into emoji instead because it is cute). How lovely is that? It really made my day! Thank you Wengie and I love you!

Remember to subscribe to Wengie's beauty channel, vlog channel, covers channel. She uploads new videos on every Wednesday and Saturday. Follow her on her Blog, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter. If you would like to stalk her more, check out her snapchat: wengie

Inthefrow

Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle Blogger and Youtuber: Victoria Magrath a.k.a Inthefrow
I could not contain my excitement about this fashion/beauty Youtuber and Blogger whom I gonna share with you all! She's one of my favourite Youtuber and Blogger, and I totally adore her!
She is a writer, youtuber, enthusiast and to me, a "beauty teacher". She has really awesome tips on make up, products reviews, amazing fashion lookbook, etc, all in her videos and blog.

More about this gorgeous beauty, Victoria - She used to be a Fashion Marketing Lecturer at University of Manchester whom graduated with a Fashion PhD in late 2012. Now she is a full-time writer and youtuber.
(Wow, pause for a moment, it's been so long since I love this beauty?! I sort of grew up together with her!)
One of her most recognisable trait is her purple hair, and now, platinum. Both colours suit her so well!
Victoria's videos are always my daily dose of inspiration. I would always be waiting for her videos to be release and watch them whenever I'm free. One thing I love about Victoria for being a great Youtuber is that she upload videos regularly, consistently with different topics and new things she wants to share to the audience. I really appreciate her efforts in making videos, and also updating her blog daily with tons of beautiful images of places she visited, things she's been loving and different fashion trends. Not only that, she also give great advices, like in one of her video "Life Lessons I've Learned".
Her fashion? I would call it high fashion, like those you would see on Tumblr and Pinterest, and you would re-post them onto your timeline. It would be such a shame not to re-post such beautifully taken photos! Her outfit is for London Fashion Week Day 1. Don't you just love how stunning she look in the outfit? (Sidetrack: I'm still loving her Fendi Tote and omg, I just want to go and explore the captivating London one day!) Another reason why I say high fashion because I cannot really describe Victoria's style. I do not mean it in any way except as a great compliment. I also recommend this very informative blog post that Victoria posted on her blog, "The True Cost of Fashion".
One of my favourite video has to be her Designer Shoe Collection video and I love her very own hand-made satin Swarovski glass slippers from Gina Shoes. She look so elegant in her cinderella slippers with her metallic lace dress and whistles clutch. How I wish I have a hand-made pair for my future wedding too!
Another pair of designer shoe which I couldn't take my eyes off its' beauty is the Dolce & Gabanna crystal-embellished heel. (Sidetrack: The people around me know how much I love boots and platforms. According to what my friend said about my style, they refer it to rocker-chic. I'm still proudly happy about that statement.)
So, if you wanna love Inthefrow as much as I do, do get inspired by her on her blog, instagram, tumblrfacebook, pinterest. Remember to subscribe to her youtube channel as well!

Stalking fashion and beauty Blogger and Youtubers on social media platforms.
